Announcing BSidesDayton 2026!

The Return of BSidesDayton
BSidesDayton is making its return in 2026, and we’re ready to bring the energy back to Dayton’s security community. This year promises new ideas, expanded space, and a renewed focus on hands-on learning and real-world infosec exploration. This year’s theme, Going Offline: Decentralize, Disconnect, DIY, sets the tone for a hands-on, community-driven day of learning and sharing within the cybersecurity world.
Aiming for 150 Participants
Interest in the event has grown steadily, and in 2026 we’re targeting 150 attendees. This expansion reflects how quickly the local information security community is evolving and how much demand there is for accessible, grassroots infosec events in the region. We are planning on setting the pricing for tickets to be $25 each.
Sponsorships
We’re actively seeking sponsors to help make BSidesDayton 2026 our biggest and best event yet. With expanded space, two tracks, and a growing audience, this year offers even more visibility and engagement for organizations that support the local security community. If you’re interested in partnering with us, please reach out for details on available sponsorship levels and benefits.
A Bigger and Better Venue
To support this growth, BSidesDayton 2026 will be held at City Church in Fairborn. The venue offers significantly more space, allowing us to comfortably host a larger crowd and deliver a smoother experience overall. The added capacity opens the door to more activities, better flow, and a more relaxed environment.
Expanded Village & Vendor Space
One of the biggest upgrades this year is the addition of ample room for villages and vendor areas. With the increased floor space, we can support more hands-on environments, community-run setups, demos, and sponsor booths. This allows participants to engage more deeply with both the content and each other. If you have an idea for a village, submit it today and help shape the BSidesDayton 2026 experience!
Introducing a Two-Track Format
BSidesDayton 2026 will feature two full presentation tracks:
- Track 1: Seating for 150+ attendees
- Track 2: Seating for around 80 attendees
This is a major step up from last year’s single-track format and gives us the opportunity to offer more talks, more variety, and more voices from across the community. Have a talk to share? Submit your Call for Paper now and bring your voice to BSidesDayton 2026!
